A classic sneaker born from ANATOMICA’s own custom-developed last, created after 12 rounds of sample production.

Because we prioritize fitting above all else, we have not previously offered these for online purchase. However, with the completion of a "paper measurement sheet" that allows you to measure your feet at home, they are now available in our official online shop for the first time.

As the "SCIENTIFIC SHOE FITTING" mark on the insole suggests, these shoes feature the "asymmetric inside-straight, outside-curve" shape characteristic of orthopedic footwear.

The shoe holds the arch of the foot while providing extra space (toe room) in the toe area, resulting in a stress-free fit. Since these shoes are designed with this toe room, the ideal fit is one where your toes do not touch the front. The best size is one where you feel more room in the toes than in your usual shoes while feeling a secure hold in the arch.

We use the "vulcanized" method, a technique rarely used today. By bonding the canvas upper and rubber sole under pressure rather than stitching them, we achieve a soft, natural fit that feels almost like being barefoot.

If you already own a pair or have been measured at one of our retail locations, you can use that same size.

　Items needed: Paper measurement sheet, tape, pen, and a box-like object.
1. Please print the paper measurement sheet (print on A4 paper at "actual size." If the print scale is off, your measurement will also be inaccurate).
2. Fold the measurement sheet along the "guide line."
3. Place a box-like object (a stack of books or magazines works) against a wall, align the folded edge of the sheet against it, and tape the sheet to the floor.
4. Align your heel with the "guide line." If measuring your left foot, align the inside of your foot with the vertical "guide line." Stand with your feet together, look straight down naturally, and mark the longest part of your foot with a pen. (Please be careful not to injure your toes.) This mark indicates your foot length. Be careful not to lean too far forward or shift your weight to your heels, as this can lead to choosing the wrong size.
5. Repeat the process for your other foot, as most people have a difference in size between their left and right feet. Measure both feet and select the size based on the larger one. If you are concerned about foot width or instep height, please contact us. We recommend taking a photo from directly above to send with your inquiry. Depending on your foot width and instep, we may suggest adjusting by half a size from the measurement for length.
