※You can print the paper measurement sheet from the URL below. Please be sure to print at "actual size."

A classic sneaker born from ANATOMICA's development of an original wooden last, created after 12 iterations of sample production.
Because we prioritize fitting above all else, we have never sold these online before. However, with the completion of a "paper measurement sheet" that allows you to measure your feet by yourself at home, this is its first appearance on our official online shop.
As the words "SCIENTIFIC SHOE FITTING" inscribed on the insole suggest, it features an "asymmetric inside-straight, outside-curve" shape unique to orthopedic shoes.
The shoe holds the foot at the arch and has extra room at the toe (toe spring). This creates a stress-free fit. Since these shoes have extra toe room, the ideal state is one where nothing touches the tips of your toes. The ideal size is one where you feel more room at the toes than in the shoes you normally wear, while also feeling the hold of the arch.
We use the "vulcanized method," which is rarely used nowadays. By heat-bonding the canvas upper and rubber sole of the sneaker instead of sewing them together, we have achieved a soft, natural fit closer to that of being barefoot.
※Regarding the measurement method using the "measurement sheet"
The measurement sheet is provided at the end of the product images; please download it.
For details on how to measure, please watch the videohere for a detailed explanation.
Additionally, if you are unsure about your size, we also accept inquiries by phone at each store.
If you already own a pair or have been measured at one of our direct-managed stores, that size is fine.
Items needed: Paper measurement sheet, tape, pen, box-shaped object
1. Print the paper measurement sheet (Please print on A4-sized paper at "actual size." If the print size is off, the measurement value will be off accordingly.)
2. Fold the paper measurement sheet into a valley fold along the "guide line."
3. Place a box-shaped object (you can substitute stacked books or magazines) along a wall, align the valley-fold side of the measurement sheet with it, and tape it to the floor.
4. Align your heel with the "guide line," and if it is your left foot, align the inner side of your left foot with the vertical "guide line." At this time, stand with your feet together, in a natural posture, looking straight down. Use a pen to mark the point indicated by the longest part of your foot. (Be careful not to hurt your toes.) That point is your foot length. Leaning too far forward or conversely having your weight on your heels may lead to choosing the wrong size.
5. Measure the other foot in the same way. Most people have a difference between their left and right feet. Measure both feet and choose the size based on the longer one. If you are concerned about foot width or instep height, please be sure to contact us. We recommend taking a photo from directly above and sending it to us. Depending on the width and instep, we may recommend going up or down a half size from the size indicated by your foot length.
