ANATOMICA exclusive "CLASSIC DAN":
A revival of the "BENO LAST" used until around the 1980s. Based on the wooden last that Pierre Fournier used during his GLOBE era, this model adopts a classic form that is slightly wider and rounder than current lasts.
By specially adding a "C width," which does not exist in the current SEBAGO lineup, we have achieved both the atmosphere of a good old-fashioned American everyday shoe and the refined silhouette characteristic of ANATOMICA.
Also, we have used soft "MOC SOFT LEATHER." It offers excellent comfort and conforms naturally and effortlessly to the foot. Isn't this an ideal pair for everyday wear, one that can be worn casually without requiring special care?

The brand name is derived from "Sebago Lake" in Maine, and since its founding, it has produced high-quality shoes using the hand-sewn moccasin construction method. In the 1940s and 50s, it was deeply linked to the preppy and Ivy League styles of the American East Coast, and its representative "DAN" model gained wide support as a classic penny loafer. It is still known today as one of the essential brands when discussing American traditional style.

The actual width is slightly narrower than the D width and wider than the C width of ANATOMICA by Alden loafers (VAN LAST).
