EAU DE PARFUM BAY RUM

At the end of the 17th century, settlers from Europe arrived in the Virgin Islands, including St. Thomas, where they encountered a leaf that had been used traditionally. It was the leaf of the West Indian Bay tree (Bois d'Inde).

As great lovers of rum, they had the idea of using these leaves to scent their spirit, and thus, the incomparable lotion known as "Bay Rhum" was born.

In time, the world of perfumery became captivated by this exotic accord, deepening its expression by layering it with spices such as clove.

ANATOMICA's "BAY RHUM"
reconstructs this centuries-old traditional accord. Centered on bay tree leaves, it layers clove, nutmeg, pink pepper, and black pepper to create a more three-dimensional and profound spicy sensation.

In the dry-down, the patchouli and incense that are quintessential to ANATOMICA emerge, harmonizing brilliantly with the spicy notes of the Bay Rhum.
