BOURRIENNE is a shirt brand that launched in Paris in 2017.

The brand finds its inspiration in the "Hôtel de Bourrienne," a historical 18th-century building located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Designer Cécile Faucheur deconstructs the decorations and frescoes found within, as well as the traditional details of antique European shirts, to reconstruct them for the modern wardrobe.

A hallmark of BOURRIENNE is its focus on a single item—the "white shirt"—giving each piece a distinct personality through details such as collars, cuffs, embroidery, and gathers. Rather than simply reproducing historical elements, the brand combines them with contemporary silhouettes and materials to create garments that feel both classic and fresh.

BOUDOIR

"BOUDOIR" is one of the iconic women's models from BOURRIENNE.

The small collar, reminiscent of antique European shirts, features braid work inspired by the frescoes of the Hôtel de Bourrienne, finished with delicate ruffles along the edges.

The sleeves have a subtle volume, and the cuffs are also finished with ruffles. While incorporating these romantic details, the use of high-quality cotton poplin and the pristine white color palette strike a refined balance, ensuring the look never feels overly sweet.

It is recommended not only as a standalone piece but also for styling under jackets, coats, or knitwear, allowing the details at the collar and cuffs to peek through.

The signature "Bourrienne Cut" is a loose, generous silhouette inspired by vintage romantic shirts. The brand recommends choosing your usual size for a moderately oversized fit, or one size down for a more streamlined look.
